CSIGHTING DETAILS

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:

It looked like a single orange round light, it moved at a steady pace on a horizontal line.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

It travelled towards us at a steady speed on a horizontal line, after travelling a good distance, it seemed to hover then travelled straight up into the sky, still at a steady speed until it went out of sight.

Any additional comments:

At first we thought it could have been an aeroplane,as we live on a flight path but plane lights are usualy white & this was bright orange.Then when it stopped and started traveling vertical we knew it wasnt a plane.
