What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
We were at Rottnest(and island off Perth) and we were looking through the
telescope over at the mainland(Perth). The skyline was clearly defined and
we could see the outline of planes flying above the city.
There was this strange, big red light just hovering over the city. It was definately not a plane
as we could see even the highest of planes flying under it! IT was much bigger than a plane too.
It was a huge bright red glow.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It just hovered over the city.

It may have been a star or planet but it seemed too low and symetrical too be one
It was definately unidentified and not any form of aircraft.
