What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:

the only wat i can discripe it is that it was like a hot air balloon in shape but not as narrow at the bottom. the underside was glowing red/orange

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

it moved in slowly ,coming from over the sea towards portland..but the wind was blowing the other way, this i know because altough it was windy, the front of our house is well protectedwhen the wind blows in the other direction and it was very calm outside our front door.anyway, the object moved very slowly towards the house, then over the top and just kept going..no deviation in speed or direction except it was rising.
