hovering back and forth checked on telescope silver with black markings and green translucent lights

my kid ce in from playing football and said dad theres a ufo and i said yeh yeh but he went out and recirded it on his phone, so i looked out window and at first thought it was a star but then it started moving back and forth and was a funny cross shapegot the telescope out and it appears to be silver with with blackish markings and a green light to it its weird maybe just maybe he is right.
