What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:

It was perfectly round and off in the distance about 5 miles..Had pulsating red,green,blue,yellow lights in that order....

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

Sat motionless for at least 30mins..Enough time to get my telescope set up and look at it to find out that it was perfectly round..And the colors were defined and in a set pattern.

Any additional comments:

First of all i live 45 miles out side of town so it is really dark...I always go out side at night to look at the stars...This thing stood out and was not a star.. I ran inside and got my telescope and my brother to come out and make sure i wasnt losing my mind..He backs me up and saw it to....
