SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at Shotley Gate Ipswich

It looked like a glass bowl with flashing or swirling red and orange within.It was extremely bright. Like a car head light on full beam at about ten yards but not dazzling so I couldn't look at it.

I saw the UFO as I left my garage from the rear into the back garden. It was aproaching from the west (the rear of my house faces north) at about 40 degrees and I'd guess at about 300 feet and travelling relatively slowly. It travelled in a slight arc westwards until it stopped probably over the main road to Ipswich then travelled north from my veiw point heading towards the Ipswich direction. As it changed direction it shut its lights of before i would have lost sight of it between the roof tops seen from the back garden. I couldn't really say how big it was but if I had to geuss then roughly 50 feet in diamiter.

This object was so insanely bright i'm amazed not to have heard anything anywhere else or in the papers. My father in law told me he saw something very similer over the pig farm where he works in Swilland on the other side of Ipswich on new years day at about 21:30 hours, as he rode his bicycle to the farm to check on the pigs.
