What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Large round orange ball with slight flicker. Unsure of size and speed as dark nightime and not sure of height of object, but appeared to be moving a reasonably fast speed. Went from rear of house, over roof and over rooves opposite.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
No, steady spped and coourse.

Really not sure what we saw, but cannot find obvious explanation
