Colour:very bright white light,much brighter than a star

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It appeared instaniously distracting my eyes from the road,It then
dropped South/West,leaving a trail of light in its path.It then Changed direction North/East and dissapeared.All this happening within a second.Allmost as just one huge flash.I am still Puzzeled.
