CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Small round orange lights. Didn't flash or blink. very bright. Didn't dim as they got closer or when they went overhead and moved into the distance.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The first light I saw came from low on the north horizon, straight overhead and disappeared south. It didn't diminish in brightness or get brighter as it approached. It was followed almost immediately by another one and both could be seen at the same time taking the same path. There was absolutely no engine noise and I hadn't been drinking!
There followed at least six more at intervals of about one minute. I woke my wife up and she saw the last 3 or 4.
The lights did not appear to move in the same way that a plane does. They took an unsteady path and seemed to move up and down, and side to side slightly.
I managed to look at them through my binoculars and they were definately orangey/yellow and quite bright. They appeared to be spinning but it was difficult to keep them in shot. They did not move that quickly.

Any additional comments:
I took a video of one with my digital camera. You can see the light faintly and it appears to be flickering on the film.
