What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
The object at first seemed like a star or an aeroplane but then i realised there was no engine noise. Also it was a constant colour of bright orange.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
I watched it go over my house then suddenly the orange light went off but i could still see the object, now just black travelling across the sky at the same speed
Any additional comments:
I cannot think what it is a common explanation for such sighting is a chinese lantern but surely one of these lanterns couldnt travel at the same height and speed for a long period of time. Then when the orange light went out it kept travelling at the same speed if it was merely a lantern the object would have lost speed and height.
