What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
An extremely bright white light. The only light in the sky with no stars visible.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The light was absolutely steady in the early morning sky which was almost cloudless.
Any additional comments:
I took a bearing of approximately 75 degrees with an elevation of around 30 degrees.
I thought at first that the soon to rise sun was shining off a satellite or aircraft. As the object was not moving I discounted this.
