CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
It was a very bright gold light in the sky above a very bright white star. It was stationary for quite a while and seemed to be getting brighter and then all of a sudden it sped off and disappeared. It seemed to have another small gold object at the bottom of it.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It was stationary for a while and then sped off faster than i've ever seen anything move. The police helicopter then flew over.
Any additional comments:
I have never seen anything like this in the sky. We regularly see aircraft and the police helicopter fly over even with the search light on but i have never seen anything like it, it was very bright and gold.
