What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Looking to the north of Oakworth from Haworth two lights lifted quickly in sync, so close that I worried at first if they were too close. At about 2,000ft they then moved in a straight but rising north west direction into the distant clouds. This was then repeated in quick succession by approxinmately 13 more in ones and twos, doing exactly the same.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
Their vertical movement was so specific and fast that I thought they must be helicopters...but I cannot recall ever seeing 15 together and I am not aware of a suitable airfield nearby in the direction north of Oakworth (I fly helicopters so know what to look for). My wife saw the final 4/5 lights also.
Any additional comments:
They had no flashing lights (as an aircraft would), were bright red/yellow, had very specific flight paths - all went into the same north west direction. Thier lift-off at different points over the north of Oakworth was generally vertical but too quick for helicopters. Any feedback or thoughts about what they could have been would be appreciated.
