CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
The UFO was I assume disc shape as it seemed to be entering the earths atmosphere. From my position I can not say the size of it but if I held a 2pence piece up to it that would be about right I am no mathmatician but would imagine standing next to it it would have been huge. It was a very clear night and I probably would not have seen it but for the red glowing tails coming off each side of it as I said before may have been entering the atmosphere, The disc it self was highlighted by the red glow. It had no lights that I saw. I believe it was heading in a north direction.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
I saw nothing strange in its actions.
Any additional comments:
I only have to say that I do not remember anything being on the news about man made things that were to enter the atmosphere and would like to say I was on my own and am glad that I have seen reports of pilots that have seen similar things and that is why I have now decided to report this sighting.
