What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
large, long, dark rusty metallic. it had a smaller section at the bottom close to one end. it was below the height
of the flatirons behind boulder. i saw it from longmont which is north of boulder but could tell it was floating over north boulder.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
what was strange was that it wasn't moving at all. such a large object and no movement. i grew up in houston, so i know what the blimp looks like and this was definitely NOT the blimp.
Any additional comments:
i was driving south on hover in longmont and could see the object for a few seconds...just enough time to assess that it was not normal and then there were trees that blocked my view. after i came out of the trees i did not have the same view or it dissapeared. i'm wondering if anyone else saw the object. i would really like to compare notes.
