CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
orange light front and back with a white "chaser" light going back and forth, looked almost like a helicopter would but we get overflights all the time and there was not the sound of the rotors turning
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
Just went across the sky going south to north
Any additional comments:
what drew my attention was a sound like either firecrackers or popcorn being made in a fryer, looked out the window and saw it. strangest part was I had just been told this morning about a guy at work seeing and hearing the same thing over "Lomond Hills" (about 3 miles west of A92 at Freuchie crossroads) last week
