CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Looked like a fried egg with a bright orange nucleus. Similar height and direction of aircraft usually goin into manchester airport, but no port and starbord light on wings or flashing lights, common to aircraft. Looked through powerful binoculars and object was also witnessed by my daughter.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
No. Craft seemed to be flying from south to north at a steady speed
Any additional comments:
Did seem to be aircraft at first sighting, at same kind of altitude and simialr speed, but looking through binoculars, was amazed to see bright orange light- which is not common to normal aircraft, and surrounding glow. Having lived all my life in same village, under flight path to manchester, and watched with interest many planes on approach to manchester airport- i know this was not a regular aircraft.
