What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
We saw firstly one bright orange ball thinking it was an aircraft, then thought it was a meteorite which scared us a bit, it was crossing the sky as relative speed, followed shortly by a series (a formation) of 5 bright orange lights, then followed by another two, then another one, although travelling at speed across the sky you could see them clearly
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
no strange things just passed at relative speed. but in total silence
Any additional comments:
there were at least eight of these bright orange 'balls' 1 in front 5 in formation then another three, they were possibly 5 secs apart. We got cam footage although it is very poor, it was not an aircraft (too many) we never believed but this has really been the highlight of our christmas day, we telephoned a friend to look and my 6 year old grandson saw them.
