SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at sky

it looked like mars, but bright as jupiter. i looked through my scope and it looked like a triangle, then my gf looked at it and she said it looked like a small light attached to abig light, so i looked to confirm and it appeared as she said. it was light orange,then white, then blue.

we watched it hover and it would go north, then south then go in a circle then go west, and it did a figure eight three times, but it would go in a circle mostly. there was a pasanger jet that flew between us and the object 11:30 central time. it was 100 times higher than the pasenger jet.

i work at barksdale airforce base. (non military) i've been an amature astronomer for 20 years.i know how objects fly. this is the second time i witnessed a object i couldnt explain. the first time was close. it traveld from horison to horison in the blink of an eye. it got close to us, and we ran from it. it chased us for about 5 miles. im not crazy, perfect vision,non drug user, i always told myself the first one i saw was an angel, cause what scared us was the light beam that came down, but never iluminated the ground ? that was in feb of 1998. it made no sound. never broke the sound barrier when it flew well over 10,000 mph. what we seen tonight wasnt a weather baloon, nor a geo stationary satalite. ive seen satalites shoot across the sky, and seen them fly across my field of view while observing the moon through my telescope. im religous, but its getting difficult to chalk thease sighting up to angels etc.
