Small, hovering
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
Yes. It lit up (that's when I saw it) and then after about a second, zoomed off and it was dark so I couldn't trace where it went, but I followed it with my eyes for a short way then lost sight of it.
Any additional comments:
Very brief sighting, but I couldn't think of any other thing it could have possibly been. My friend saw it later on that evening when he was heading home from my house.
