SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at Weymouth, Dorset UK

a red flame on a white sheet background, very low, no noise, large, travelling against the wind, constant velocity and altitude.

watched for over a minute, constant altitude and velocity then suddenly disappearred after climbing rapidly, until light no longer visable with naked eye.

my first thought was it was a hot air baloon, but there was no noise, and on observation, no balloon, but a white verticaL sheet like background. It was travelling too fast and too consistently, to be a hot air balloon. flame would would flicker, but flame was continuous and flight was level and against prevailing wind, which was low, but coming from the south, ufo travelling into the wind. At the same time, at almost opposite direction, we spotted a satellite passing over the south coast with a blue light. Once ufo had passed, satellite appeared to slow considerably. The ufo was travelling north to south over chesil beach in dorset. On reflection, although we thought we had the dimension of the "craft" once it had passed and had accelerated away, we began to wonder how big it really was and whether it was close or just far way and enormous?
