What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
I have just seen something in the sky that I have never seen be for and which I can offer no explanation for. I just went out into the back garden to put some rubbish in the bin when I saw this hugh ball of bright orange light in the distance - the colour of a glowing orange fire. It was at about the height of an aeroplane and my first reaction was that someone had sent an orange lantern into the sky until I realised it was a lot bigger based on its height and it didn't burn out. However it passed over relatively slowly and the light did not fade and just disappeared off in the distance. I called my wife and son out to see it and they too had never seen anything like it before.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
No it just cruised by relatively steadily over above into the distance - I didn't hear any noise but as I explained it was high up in the sky.
Any additional comments:
No it was just really weird and something I cannot give any logical explanation to.
