SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at newton heath manchester

when i was going to bed early hours that day i walked into the bedroom there wasn't a light on in the bedroom only a light coming from the landing. i was walking over to the window to shut the curtains and i saw a bright orange object in the sky, i thought it was a ball of fire because it seemed to be on fire and i thought it would burn out and fall to the ground but it was travelling towards clayton, it was a bit smaller than a small football anyway i went down stairs to get my phone to take a picture of it but i did this at the back door, so the picture i took is not very good i should have taken it from the bedroom window but i don't thinkl there would have been enough time because when i went upstairs to get a better view it was heading for a bank of cloud and then it was gone. i am reporting this to see if anyone had seen anything early hours that day because i can't find any reference to it, or was it a weather phenomenon or with it being the chinese new year on the monday was it some sort of remote control lantern or something i am quite puzzled.

it was travelling consistently at a reasonable speed and disappeared when it went into the clouds, i kept on looking every now and again to see if the clouds had gone but they took some time to start moving away but i didn't see the object again.

it is hard to say how long i had seen the object for it was only seconds because i went downstairs to get the camera. i would appreciate anything that you think it could possibly be or if anyone else saw it. if you would like to see the photo i took of it i would be pleased to upload it for you.
