What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Two white lights moving in formation or could have been connected
one bright at the rear,being so close to gatwick we see aircrft all the time,i do not think it was. an aircraft lights from the ground appear to be 3inches apart and have white red or green flashing lights, comparison to that these would have been a hundred feet!Moving horizontal at first then the front light dipped down continueing to move together but now at an angle of
20 to 2 it dawned on me it was a solid object! and not two seperate lights, i reported what i had seen to the police!

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
a steady heading at very high altitude although apearing to be moving. slowly it appear to change course and then moved away
covering a great distance, aircraft do not do that
