What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
A LARGE WHITE ROUND BRIGHT LIGHT. THE LIGHT WAS 3 TIMES BIGGER THAN YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM AN AIRCRAFT AT 1000FT.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
THE LIGHT HOVERED FOR A MOMENT, THEN APPEARED TO TRAVEL AWAY AND UP, THE LIGHT SHONE LIKE A STAR, THEN VERY QUICKLY DISAPPEARED. THERE WAS NO CLOUD.
Any additional comments:
I LOOKED VERY CLOSELY FOR OTHER LIGHTS THAT I WOULD EXPECT FROM AN AIRCRAFT BUT THERE WASN'T ANY. AIRCRAFT DON'T FLY THAT LOW/OR ABOVE OUR HOUSE, ONLY HELICOPTERS. THIS LIGHT MADE NO NOISE. I RANG POLICE, THEY SAID RING AIR TRAFFIC - I WORK THERE - AND DIDN'T WANT MY FRIENDS AT WORK THINKING I HAD GONE MAD!! HOPE THIS HELPS.THANK YOU
