I dont know it was a sound I heard and a very bright light
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
I heard the sound outside my window and when I opened my eyes there was a very bright light through my bedroom window. The curtains were closed and the light was scanning through my room pretty much.
Any additional comments:
There is no road outside the back of my house. That rules out a passing car. The humming noise was like a silent drone that last an additional couple of seconds after the light then it just faded to a stop in less than 2 seconds. I woke up at 04:18 to go to the bathroom and when I tried to go back to sleep thats when this happened. I was very much awake and of sound mind. Only Alcohol I had to drink was 2 beers early in the afternoon of the previous day so I know it wasnt the alcohol and I hadnt taken any drugs so it wasnt in my head.
