SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at outskirts of sedbergh uk

Resembled a star, now and again smaller green flashes on its edges, very bright.

at first seemed to be a star, then we noticed it would periodically move, at first in a straight line in one direction then it seemed to move erratically in different directions very fast before remaining still again, it repeated this cycle of movement continually while we observed it.

there were four of us attemptinga late night treck to thetop of the nearest hill to our holiday cottage, i laid down as i was tired before we reached the top and needed a rest, the sky had been very clear all night and was beautiful to look at, after watching the sky for only a few moments i noticed the "moving star" its movement was so obvious and so erratic at times it was hard to miss, i brought it to the attention of the 3 other people in my group and we could not help but watch it for at least 15 mins before we decided it was time to head home, it was still clearly visible and repeating its cycle of movement across the sky by the time we all got to bed easily an hour later.
