like a human figure, it was black, i saw what looked like legs, but generally human shaped.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

the figure glided forwards and travelled straight for about 2miles at a guess, from right to left.

Any additional comments:

no chute, no jet pack, no vapour, nothing above, nothing below. birds were nearby so was easy to see it was no bird! far too large.
