Yellow/Orange ball of light

Traveling North to South at a medium speed, no noise and no flashing lights as I would expect on a normal aircraft.
Any additional comments:
I am used to seeing aircraft an this was not anything normal it made no sound and was not travelling quickly enough to be any sort of jet propelled craft.
There was no wind and visibility was excellent so I know it was not any kind of lantern i was with my girlfriend and she also witnessed it.
