What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Blazing flare, orange in colour.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
I live near manchester airport so I am fully aware what a plane looks like in the late evening. The brightness and strength of the light brought it to my attention. There were no additional flashing lights. The object approached from the east but not at a constant speed, it then did an erratic circular motion and the almost did an immediate turn to the right heading in a north direction, I called my son and wife who witnessed it as well. It then seemed to burn/fade out. This was not a plane or helicopter.
Any additional comments:
My wife then related that she and her friend had witnessed something strange in the week. They witnessed an onject in the sky in the day time, it was a metalic object that would catch the sun and light up. It remained motionless or just moved around the same area. She has said that it was not a plane or helicopter and had never witnessed anything like it before.
