What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Oval in shape, a dull orange, no lights, no sound, difficult to determine size, possibly a small light aircraft.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
Moved in a straight line first and then did a zig zag motion for a couple of seconds and then carried on in a straight line
Any additional comments:
The night sky was clear in places with some rain clouds moving towards me. The UFO appeared from the North and moved to the South in a straight line with a zig zag motion in between. It was moving against the wind so I would say it was controlled. I've never seen anything like this ever. I live near Bristol airport and I am used to seeing aircraft coming into land at night and during the day so I am sure it wasn't an aircraft. It had no static or flashing lights, just a dull orange oval shape moving fast across the sky.
