Shining bright, like fire. Flickering, at first slightly, then much more stronly as it was hovering.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

It came to a stop slowly and hovered. Became generally more faint. Took my eyes off it for a few seconds and it had gone afterwards.

Probably a lantern.
