It was an orange ball of light
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
As it got overhead it was just about to go over a cloud when it changed from an orange ball of light to a black triangle
Any additional comments:
I at first thought it was a Chinese lantern as it was bright orange and flickering, it moved slowly towards my direction as I looked at it about to enter a cloud it changed to a triangle but it was only a second before it was covered. It never emerged from the other side of the cloud
