CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
It was an oval object which seemed to reflect light from its underside; bottom may be matted. Bottom didn't glow from heat or plasma. No aviation marker lights. It was viewed with 10X50 binoculars near the constellation of Cassiopeia at 12 AM. I was starglazing.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It just flew from an west to east direction. To the west is Los Angeles International Airport. To the southeast is Ontario International Airport. And, to the northeast is El Monte Airport. I live on a hill overlooking the entire San Gabriel Valley. No airplane noises.
Any additional comments:
On another night, I view an airliner; I could see the same reflected color light on its fuselage and wings along with the marker lights. No wings or marker lights on my object. Focus was correct on the binoculars.
