What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
At first it was a slit of bright light like a straight silver lining on a cloud. size was impossible to guauge. I saw many of these all heading in different directions. I saw one which appeared as a bright sperical object which I took to mean it was heading towards me. The others I saw side view and they were slits of bright light that left a constant length of vapour trail.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
No they simply headed off in all directions until they disappeared.
