CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
just a series of lights
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The UFO flashed a series of lights. 1 flash, then two flashes.It did that for several minutes. Then two lights appeared one either side of the initial flashes, and started to move, toward the primary flashes. The two lights merged with the main unit, and all went dark. approximately, 1? miute later, there was an incredibly bright flash of light, and the Object? streaked into the darkness. Literally like a torch being switched on and off very quickly. The initial flash being very powerful.I was not the only person to sight this, as I was on duty with two other personnel, who both saw the sight.
Any additional comments:
As soldiers on duty, we were totally sober and drug free, as it was 1973, and the British Army. We were on Guard duty, guarding an IRA Class 1 individual target.
The sighting? whilst not daylight, totally convinced me, personally, that we are not alone.
