CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
I am a commercial pilot. During this period i was employed as a charther pilot based at Karratha WA. I was flying 3 passengers back from Mt Tom Price to Karratha at night. My aircrfat was a twin engined Piper Aztec. The experience started by a bright white light engulfing the aircraft at my cruise altitude of 6,500 feet. The difference was that the light also eminated from the inside of the aircraft.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The UFO was directly above me so I could not see it. I tried to wake up my passengers but they did not stir, a few second later I saw a huge "Fireball" disappear off my left wingtip as the bright white light went out.
Any additional comments:
I did not experience any difficulty with the aircraft, it flew normally, After the sighting, I reported the incident to air traffic control, (Area Control). The fleeting sight I had of the UFO was a described above, it appeared as a orange "firebal" in colour, its speed was far greater than any terrestial based aircraft. I have this incident recorded in my pilots logbook.
