What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
My initial thought was that this was a low flying passenger aircraft I could see three yellow like Amber lights in the sky, I must add there was not a cloud in the sky and the stars were all visible .
The three lights went to two and then looked like they were fading behind a cloud as I said earlier there were no clouds! The two lights went to one light which faded to one and then I saw the one light streak away at tremendous speed leaving a trail.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The UFO was going at the same speed as an aircraft but as the lights faded it then streaked of at great speed

I only saw this for approximately twenty seconds and as I said earlier I thought what I was seeing was an aircraft with bright lights but it was unexplainable and there were no clouds
