What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
It was a clear night all the stars were visible. This . .craft travelled very high, too high for an airliner routing from Left to right as I faced out to sea. Naturally, I thought it was a sattelite.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
Then just as I thought it had stopped dead and I could not find it - two lights came from right and left at high level but they were much dimmer than the previous light and they criss crossed their paths almost at right angles - criss crossed their paths across the sky (am looking up wards) and where they criss-crossed is where I reckoned the stopped light to be.
Any additional comments:
The whole thing was 3 mins maximum. The bigger light, I observed for about a minute tops. I commented to my girlfriend that it was moving too fast for an airliner or even a fast jet. (I`m a pilot too), but the other two which appeared were cross paths and gone in about two seconds tops.
