CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
we were camping in our back garden when we heaerd a strange niose(there were no noises like this electronic oscilating noise descending in pitch & speed in the sixties synthersizers hadnt been invented) we both came out of the tent to see a smoky mist down at the overgrown end of our large garden, there was clearly something grey & round tho not very high, when we saw movement we legged it round to the side of the house, but door was locked as my parents were out, when we heard the reverse sound oscilating & gaining speed & pitch exactly like you would imagine a ufo to sound like on taking off.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

we ran to the end of the street in our pj's soon my parents came home & the next morning there was a circle of long gras that had been flattened & scorched about 3 metres in diametre.
