CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
an ovoid shape, elongated nose with coloured circular lights running in anti-clockwise direction.(From top projection.) No definable colour, though possibly metallic. appeared more elliptical than circular. some rear projections that could be fins(?) no obvious means of propulsion,(exhaust,vapour trail).

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
circled over one area. extremely fast rotation.possible light towards front.erratic movement.movement too sharp to seem like helicopter,too fast also.moved off v.rapidly to my left,yet to ascertain if N,S,E,W. 2 lights follow but cannot keep up.
Any additional comments:
commercial flight traffic normally quite heavy. at the time this appeared, i was smoking a cigarette, so step out side. i noticed that there were v.few flights. take binoculars and make sketch and note times.
