SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at Pensacola, FL; night sky

For just a few seconds they curved back and forth in a straight direction, in perfect parallel formation, then suddenly one broke away towards the west, and the other instantly followed.

It was during a moon eclipse. A couple buddies of mine and I went on top of the college dorm roof to watch the moon, and while we were lying on our backs, feet facing south, and talking, my friend caught two orange orbs out of his eye, coming from the north at a southwest/4 o'clock location, and called my attention to them. I didn't believe him at first, then I saw them. Wouldn't have believed him unless I did. My other buddy didn't see them at all before they left. They were about as high in the air as if you saw a Cessna or a smaller craft at its highest altitude. They were flying in a constant line, zig-zagging in curves as if maneuvering around cones, directly parallel with one another, which is amazing because no two modern flying craft could fly like that in such harmony. I've seen air shows, the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds, both of which have their home bases here in the Florida panhandle, and these were not jets on some military training flight or maneuver. They had a dark orange glow, and basically looked like round balls flying. We saw for like 2 seconds, then as one pulled away towards the west, the other immediately followed, and they took off with amazing speed, almost instantly. Immediately we dismissed it as some government experimentation, which is a possibility, due to the various Naval aviation bases in the local area.
