Just bright light- no visible craft

Somehow, electrical power was disrupted in both my truck and an oncoming car.
Any additional comments:
While driving westbound on state route 87 between Middlefield and Mespotamia, a bright flash of light appeared between my truck and an oncoming car. Both vehicles suddenly lost power and stalled. No sound could be heard, and this lasted for 3-5 minutes. Then, the light disappeared, and both cars lights came back on. The only damage done was that now the clock and radio presets in my truck will not let themselves be reset.
