What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
It was hovering about half a mile behind a jet flying west out over the Atlantic Ocean at an estimated height of 30,000-35,000 feet.the object was slightly to the east of Croagh Patrick,a holy mountain overloking Clew Bay.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It was a disc shape and appeared completely white.It wobbled for a short time and then seemed to get smaller before returning to its original size i.e about the size of thre tailplae of the jet which was like a Boeing 767 or Airbus.
Any additional comments:
I watched the craft through 10x 50 binoculars.I lowered then for a few seconds and when I tried to find the object again it had disappeared.I scanned the sky which was clear with only scattered cloud for some minutes without success.The area is a major confluence point for air traffic crossing to and from North America.
