SIGHTING REPORT UFO sighting at Western NYS...at my friends

It was very bright and just a little bigger than a star. It was glowing yellow but had an orange tint to it.at the end there was a flash of blue light

It would hover for a few mins. then would zig-zag back and forth. It would disapear then all the sudden be back again. It also would hover then move back and forth,then hover again then move away as if it were leaving the area,but then it be back.

I swear this is the truth and never before or never again have I seen this. I was sleeping over at my friends house. My friend had fallen asleep and her sister,Hallee, and I were talking. It was really hot that night so we decided to go swim. We went out to the pool and Hallee said she saw something glowing in the sky. I told her it was probably a star,but she insited we go in. We went in and as I was about to fall asleep,I looked out her window and out in the distance,way up in the sky,i saw this glowing bright light zig-zagging back and forth. I mentioned to Hallee and she said "Thats what I saw too!" I thought,well maybe it was a plane,but planes dont zig-zag. The glowing thing started to hover over the horizon and then it went away. Soon,like 2 min. later,it appeared again. It hovered more and zig-zagged. It was way off in the horizon. Hallee started to freak and we woke up my friend. She got mad we woke her up and thought we were insane,and so without even looking,she fell back to sleep. The zig-zagging and hovering kept up for another 15 min. and Hallee hid under the sheets and when I turned to tell her something,there was this flash of blue light and we looked and the glowing thing was gone. It werid as hell.
