CSIGHTING DETAILS
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
looked like a bright star or satellite hanging in the north eastern sky. It seemed to be spinning and as it did it changed from red to yellow to green to white. It was to close to be star and to high to be an airplane. My guesstimate is 30 degrees above the horizon.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It stayed in the same place until the sun came up and then vanished
Any additional comments:
I have seen a lot of strange objects in the night sky but this had to be the wierdest. I woke my wife up and her take a look at it so that I would know that my eyes weren't playing tricks on me.
