What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
it was round with a dome top, and with what I can only explain as looking like a spinning top with a flat bottom.
there were flashing green, red and white lights moving round the centre of the craft.
These lights did not flash in the same place or the same order.
Although the craft was approximatly 15 miles away, above the southdowns it was of a great size.
Larger than any other flying object we've ever seen.
Although it was of a great size we heard no sound.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
The craft was stationary for 5 minutes then slowly hovered around for a further 15 mins then just seem to disapear.
Any additional comments:
My partner who is a sceptic had been awoken by our baby, looked out the window to find this thing in the sky.
Normally he would find a logical way of explaining something like this, but he could'nt and so awoke me who was amazed at what i was seeing.
