small torpedo like shape with a fin underneath one light kind of thing that was on it's own flying infront and then going to the back

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:

It didn't really move it stayed there a while and then just looked as though it just evapourated( sorry about the spelling)

Any additional comments:

It was very silent and it was very warm considering the altitude
