What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
It was a round orb of white light, off in the distance in front of us (my boyfriend and my best friend and I). It was coming towards us and then stopped, then sort of hovered. Then all of the sudden it split into 2 equal sized smaller orbs of light and then dissapeared. There are not any hills or anything like that to block the view, or for them to have gone behind. They just vanished.
Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
