What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour:
Me and my uncle a police officer (sap) were fishing at night.The dog started to growel.We then looked around and noticed a reflection on the water. Then to our shock,we saw a large light in the sky . just above a mountain. We thought it may be a helicopter or aeroplane, but it made no sound. It moved from one side of the mountain range to the other in a second ( about twenty kilos). It had green red and yellow lights.It moved in a appearingly circular motion. It hoverd around for about five to six minutes.When it disapeard we left all our kit and went home pale and confused.
I had always thouht ufo sightings were crazy, how could I myself now see one.
The story does not end there . One night about a year later a friend(phone tecnician) and I were going out . As we wanted to leave were noticed a large bright orange light in the sky not very high.It hoverd in one position for about to minutes in one position before dissapearing. When it dissapeard smaller lights seem to (beam towards the earth in four or five directions.
Both incidents were reported the south african aviation authority .
Officials would look into the matter and claimed to investigate sightings (only if kept in secret) would deny any to media.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly:
It moved aross the skyline within one or two seconds.
